in 2011 kiruu started playing interactive concerts in valencia, spain. joined by nelo royner, saul vanaclocha, pau espert, and later carlos riaño and beto perez, baobab was formed. with kiruu's new songs, the group developed an eclectic mix of different styles and languages. after farewells from nelo and saul, rafa ramos joined in 2013, and baobab continued until spring 2014. kiruu launched his solo project in 2013, recording “nyumbani” with enika, carol uliwa, and essau pwelle in tanzania. this EP is a memoire of the baobab project, and kiruu's time in tanzania.

all songs were recorded, produced, mastered by daniel frechina grasiá at pares o nones records, valencia, spain, except “nyumbani”: recorded, produced, mastered by matt nicholson, (mattnicholson.tv) in dar es salaam, tanzania.
